What a Freakin Awsome result so far. this looks like the best WRC Season yet since Sainz lost his world title to a blown engine and TM won his fourth title in a row .....

To bad Speed TV dropped the WRC...
My boy Panzzi is in fourth and Gigi is doing pretty good, he got third on a couple of stages and is sitting in 10th.. LEOB is out ... WTF and Skoda drivers are in third and are winning stages.. Who would have thought

Stage Six and the last major stage of the day
Gronholm Leads by 1min 23.7 secs, and wins the last stage, as Loeb went off 5k's into Stage 6 on day one. Peter Solberg doing better and placed 2nd on the stage
Gilles Panizzi down to fourth after a tough afternoon w/ a car he describes as "very nervous"
Miko Hirvonen lost almost two minutes w/ center diff problems making him do 3point turns on the hairpins on this tricky Monte.
Such excitement on the opening leg
Skoda's wining stages, placing in the top 3 most of the rally so far.
Loeb crashing out
Gronholm leading, and Ford Killing all in their way; for the win
Subarus UN-Nominated driver Chris Atkinson up to third on his first MONTE!!!!
Toni "the other Finn " Gardemeister in a superb 3rd overall in the Peugoet 307
Panizzi back to a familar form and poised to do his thing just 7.3 seconds adrift of Gardemeister
And Long time OMV driver Manfred Stohl is in 5th Showing is Experience and potential just like Duval
Duval supprising all and giving Skoda a much derserved Stage victory and sitting down in a respectfull 6th place
Subaru's Petter Solberg rueing his poor tire choices and way down the order
and he may be out due to oil leak on the last stage, causing massive internal damage that cannot be repaired in the 2hr 45min service he's allowed
We don't know if he's going to be starting tommorrow. we'll just have to wait and see
And poor Gigi Galli holding onto Mitsubishi's dimished attack way down in 41st after the Stage...

Loeb is charging hard, and is in 4th only 2min. 41 sec. behind Gronholm. He swept the stages today!
If he makes it up tomorrow just crown him the greatest ever and be done with it. Atkinson has dropped back into 6th but Sarrazin has moved up to 5th, with Gardemeister and Stohl in 2nd and 3rd clinging to a 30ish second lead over Loeb.
