Live Nurburgring Webcam

There's been a lot of Evo's and other badass machinery showing up today.

Looks like this yellow Evo crashed though, nice Celica GT4's in the backround.

that was me.....i wrecked on wipperman.....i have new brakes sitting in the house and should have put em' on.....lesson learned.....the evo was owning all day long though......she just got away from me and well you see the consequences....i've got plenty of laps on the ring and am not some 18 yr old newbie....so before anyone posts crap about that...this is my first accident also so refer back to my last statement....this can happen to anyone and if you go to the ring enough you see plenty of this....Also kiddies get harnesses....they will save your life.......total cost for the day $1400 for all the armco's etc. to be replaced.....but now i will be posing some stuff for sale so you guys are the real winners here....lol.....anyways drive safe out there and well at least i kept it at the track

thanks guys......the car really was performing well and everyone loved to take pax laps in it......I shoulda just dialed it back a notch cause of the brakes but the track was dry and everything felt pretty good.... i was shooting for 7 min laps bridge to bridge so that was probably the only downfall.....I have a couple 8 min flat laps on camera and i figured today was the day to break the barrier....but yeah hard lesson learned i guess and i have to realize being overseas military i'll probably never drive an evo again till i return to the states.....really sucks.....

Sorry dude, that's the risk of actually living the dream

If you don't mind me asking what part of the Wipperman did you loose it on and what was the cause? Just curious, it is a fantastic set of turns . Hope you can run there again, don't give up

there was a little dirt patch on the inside left of the first part of the turn and i took it just a little wider then normal....as was everyone that day.....well i was in 4th going through that section and the tail started to slide a little....i countersteered and almost recovered it then the car just started fishtailing like crazy and i basically did a 360 where it drops down the hill and almost hit the right side but saved it there and then it went across the track and i hit the armco backwards....it's kinda hard to explain.....really if i had some breaks left i'm pretty sure it wouldn't have ended this way....all in all yeah i paid the ultimate price but i think before next summer i might get another evo shipped over here....it all just depends....being so close to the track over here and being a car guy my whole life i can't walk away from it and just quit....

That sucks but, is still awesome all at the same time.

I mean on one had it sucks you wrecked but, then on the other at least you wrecked hauling a*s around the 'ring trying to cut a 7 minute lap and not some stupid soccer mom rear ending you at a light or something similar.

Yeah really...I would rather of wrecked on Nurgburgring trying for that 7 minute lap instead of wrecking racing on the streets or getting side swiped or something...How many of us Americans get to take our cars over to Germany to drive the autobahn and race the ring...Live the dream man...
