16g/20g Alky users post your timing!

I'm looking for some tuned 16/20g cars with Alky to compare timing with. Mainly in the low to mid range.

I'm running 50/50 mix with 26psi. Still a work in progress... Car just isnt pulling down low like it has in the past. I think I may be going a little too aggressive although no knock was detected. I'm open for suggestions!

Here is a screenshot from my map. I've adjusted a couple minor things since this map/log was created

Not as much as I imagined... now if I use 100% alky I'd probably have to pull more. My alky kicks in pretty low so it's almost like tuning for race gas in a way.

It worked out nice because my pump gas tune was lean down low (which I was working on) so when I added alky it was pretty close to 11.1. I've been playing with the latency and a couple other things trying to get everything perfect.

I'm just having a time bringing everything together. Tomorrow is track day so I'm normally stressing over my tune on Wednesday anyways

Yellow is first gear, green is second - but the amount stretches accross the load so who knows?

Air temps on that pull were 78 dropping to 68 by redline. This evening they were in the 90's dropping to 80's by redline. I'm not sure about before the alky but normally I see around a 10 degree drop by redline

You don't need timing, you got a IX

I don't know what the temps were but it was hot and humid SC air with AC blasting.

It was my first log ever, there was about 6 pages of log before I realized it was running and took off

How does your car feel down low sesso? Either you're pulling timing or it's just low at low rpm

Oh nm lol

Do some 3rd gear pulls from as low of an RPM as you can to start with.. I usually do several different rpm's just to see how the car reacts.

lol well I have it as advanced I can while keeping 11:1 I could never come close to this timing with the meth

I usually edit out the low numbers but my timing will start 38* before wot and gradually go down to the 11* u se above.

my timing map looks a lil like the one above without all the retard at the top right.

lol, your map looks almost identical to mine... I'm only on the stock 16G w/ 25psi, and WI. Since you have alcahol, I'd think your timing could be higher... I dunno though, you didn't post your fuel table.

PS: shouldn't you rescale, running 26lbs?

^^Who me? I can update my first post and put my fuel map in if needed. I've been debating recaling my tables.. just haven't had time to do it yet.
