where to get new brake pads?

For the front and rear they are like ~$170

Any better places? Also what would be a better pad then stock?

Thanks,
-Zach

I was at the track and had brake fade problems, so I am after some different pads as well. I just called Brembo USA - they don't even have any parts for the brakes kit that we have on our cars yet. It turns out that they shipped directly from Brembo Italy to the factory.

I am going to hunt around for a manufacturer that will confirm that they have pads that fit and work and will let you know what I find out.

These guys http://www.rmrproducts.com/home.htm have rotors and brake lines and are working on locating pads as well. I just ordered the brake lines and will post an article with instructions when I have them installed.

Okay chillinEvoVIII, you may be happy with your brakes, but what sort of driving do you do?

The stock setup is fine of every day use, but seems lacking on the track. I know I am not the only one who has had problems. Fortunately I wasn't one of the unlucky people who suffered from warped rotors from track time.

I want better brake performance and that's why I am after replacement pads.
