First Suspension Mod

I want to eventually do extensive suspension modifications on my evo but I don't have any experience really. More interested in suspension being as this is a drivers car not a drag racer. So what should I first do?

Get an alignment.

Seriously, from the factory the alignment is set to lord only knows what. So take it to a good alignment shop and have it set up right. Get as much negative camber as you can, and set toe close to 0 front and rear. You should notice a big difference just doing this much.

are you serious...?

****, i just had my car in for the spring install and i requested an alignment, and they told me i didn't need it...

Well, i guess i'll take it to my "local" tuner shop, and get this thing aligned to make sure...

Where can i get the factory specs for the alignment...? thanks...
