Suspension Upgrade Options
Ok, so im getting a set of Megan Racing Street Coilovers for Christmas from my parents. Im also looking into what would be the next thing to do for the suspension. I would like to get a swaybar, but does the front or rear do the most? Which is better to get first? And if its the rear, is the Perrin the best when coupled with their endlinks?

Please search - adding random parts does nothing good for your car. The suspension is a system and must be treated as such. You need to learn how to optimize that system using the coilovers you're getting and basing those decisions off the spring rates and alignment you choose.

Well I understand that stuff, Im going to school for high performance automotive and just got done with my suspension class. Im mainly trying to figure out if the front or rear sway bar does the most good and which company has the best one. I have seen and heard alot of good things about the Perring Rear when coupled with their endlinks so I just want to make sure that is a good combo.
And as to my parents getting me the coilovers, they arent buying them all, I have to give them about $600 and they are paying for the rest. I wish my parents would pay for all of them, that would be amazing!
But im just trying to get a confirmation from someone running the setup with the Megan Coilovers and a Perrin Sway bar, about how much of an improvement it is, and how much the sway bar makes a difference.

If you are in school for that and just completed a suspension class, then you know there is no answer to that question. It seems more like you just want someone to give you a reason to buy the Perrin, but you won't get that. There is nothing special about the Perrin sway bar, and there's no particular reason for you to get a sway bar at all anyway. If you truly have learned about suspension dynamics, then apply that knowledge to what you're doing and decide accordingly.
There is no "best one" sway bar, and there is no "does the most good" between the front and rear. You should already know this if you finished that class. It all depends on what you want to accomplish, which you haven't mentioned yet, and then it depends on how you want to get there. The fact you have a harness bar and harness on a car that isn't raced and doesn't even have suspension mods leads me to believe you don't really know or care, in which case, you should just add the Perrin RSB and pretend to be happy with the rear end being loose.

I just got the car about 3 months ago, and have been getting it modded acordingly. My suspension is still stock due to the fact that I havent had money untill now to start on that. And as far as not racing, I havent been able to due to the fact I have had some drivetrain issues (clutch replaced, tranny rebuilt and a TC rebuilt) I had to get mexed before I can race it. So over the winter I am working on the suspension. I know I need coilovers, I am just looking at what I should add with them to make my car handle that much better. I am not looking to have someone "TELL" me what to do with my car. I asked if that would be a good setup and for opinions on Perrin bar. If its not going to help, I am not going to do it.
I am planning to mainly drag race the car, but our school has an auto-x club that I am planning to join in the spring. So, my racing would be drag mainly and auto-x when I have the time.
So what I am asking is, what would be some good suspension mods to start with to go along with the coilovers?

dude. research your butt off on coilovers. get them installed. play with them until you've totally found its optimal settings.
then..
get to the drawing board. sway bars dramatically affect your suspension geometry. If you feel your suspension is lacking in any way (with the megan streets.. its possible you might) than choose a sway bar to best compliment the issues you find with your new suspension.

Swaybars do nothing to the suspension geometry. Buying first and asking questions later is how most people end up getting mods they don't want, or don't need, or both. The OP is taking a step in the right direction by asking questions first.

If you want to spend money and actually improve your performance at the track, you will need seat time. You'll find that the Evo is a pretty capable machine right out of the box; there's no need to throw money and mods at it to make it perform. You probably won't be able to drive it past 50% of it's potential at the moment, why bother increasing the car's limits if you don't even know your own? You can only learn so much reading textbooks.
Fix your car, leave the suspension as is and go participate in your school's auto-x club. You'll probably have more fun driving around those cones than you would down the dragstrip too. You don't *need* coilovers or to upgrade your swaybars despite what you might read on this board.
