CEL from overboosting on part throttle

Hi,

Since i've installed my HKS EVC 6 i'm getting CEL on part throttle, no matter how high i set my peak boost value (26 or 22 psi).
I've been trying to manage it by changing the offset and boost values on part throttle but since i don't have any way to log my boost i have to do it just by guessing.

The car runs perfect at 100% throttle (WOT) i can boost up to 26,5 and taper to 22,5 psi at 7000.

Please anyone can help?

You need to adjust the tables in the ECU for the added boost so it won't throw the CEL.

Keep adjusting the partial throttle maps to limits boost to 13 psi up to 70% throttle and see it that will keep the ECU happy. That should be a good starting point. If it still throws the light, keep reducing it 1 psi at a time until no partial throttle CEL codes.

The AccessPort supports many JDM, EDM, and Australian Evo Xs. It will raise boost without throwing the over or under load CELS.

If the AP does not support your ROM, it will download it allowing you to send us your ROM. We will add support for your car in a few days and get you an update. That being said, we more than likely already support your car sans the tuning.

I think you will like how the AP make the car feel vs. the external boost controller. Just a thought

Thanks,
Rob
