Removing 2 Phillips Screw

I am having a hard time removing these 2 screws on my radiator cover. In which direction should the screws go? Left or Right? I don't want my plastic screw to strip out because of my screwdriver. Much appreciate with any help. Thanks

if they dont come out stick your hand under them and hold them while trying to unscrew them, i usually have to do this in order to get the screws out.
