Intake scoop removal

Did anyone else have trouble removing the two plastic screws that hold down the intake scoop? I feel like my screw is just spinning even though the base is not moving.

Use a tiny flathead screwdriver to help pry the plastic screw head up.

I'm going to put in the hks rs intake. Is it an actual screw, or is it a clip?

It's a clip. You pull up on the middle section with a tiny flat head. Then you can remove the entire thing. These clips are like anchors you put in the wall for srews. The middle expands the bottom holding it in place.

when you unscrew it don't put any pressure on it. just simply pull up keeping pressure off the screw and unscrew. it should back out enough to get a screw driver of some kind under it to help it the rest of the way.

or drill the bastard out and install a different style clip.
