Where does everyone have the Air Temp Sensor, if they have Water/Meth Injection?

I was going to put my MAT sensor in the Intake Manifold, because that seems the best spot for accurate readings.

But I may add Water Injection in the future and I am not sure if it will interfere with the MAT. The manifold seems the best spot because the Water/Meth might cool the air, but not sure if a drop of water on the MAT could throw off readings or even damage the sensor.

Does the MAT need to be behind the Injection Nozzle?

Anyone have any experiences running Speed Density with a MAT in the Intake Manifold and Water Injection?

 

Do direct-port water/meth injection, so you don't have to worry about it.

I would hesitate to put the MAT in the path of any kind of injection, but I have no direct experience, I'm afraid.

 

I don't think it will have any adverse affects that it wouldn't do to your MAP sensor on the plastic front.

The resistor that is in the Air temp sensor will most likely not change it's resistance from external corrosion from the alcohol.

My water injection is dormant but I installed my AIT in the upper IC pipe below the jets. I wouldn't put the AIT in the manifold anyway because of heatsoak concerns.
