Just a question i tried searching... has anyone tapped into there intake mani and have installed 4 injectors to spay water/meth 100percent in all cylinders... anyone have pics... lmk thanks

 

I hear thats the new fad now but if its done wrong like tapped wrong or anything it will leak badly and get al dirty and ****.

I havn't done it but if I were to run meth again this would be the only way I would run it. It's the same idea as a direct port nitrous kit. drill/tap 4 holes on the bottom or top of the mani runners and hook it up!

 

Kinda like buying anything or installing anything incorrectly...just like making sure you dont weld a t3 flange for an evo-style turbo. Its not a big deal to make sure you have the right size thread and its welded correctly.

 

I have done it. Aquamist can provide the necessary components to go that route. ($150 +/-) I would only use a Aquamist HFS-6 with DP due to the amount of control it provides.

Also consider a very strong ignition will be needed due to large amount of liquid pooling up on the valves. Stock rods could be subject to bending or breaking under a misfire condition or where high volume of liquid compression is present.

Also know this is complete overkill for 50/50 WM or 100% meth. 2x's jets in the IC will do more than enough and distribution is more than equal with any amount of methanol 50% or more. With more h20 the harder the distribution becomes due to higher viscosity. This is solely based on climate, WMI kit choosen, install ect, ect.

that looks awsome man just what i was thinking of doing if i go back to meth because of all the issues on not getting meth to all the cylinders and them cracking or whatever and warping

There are some components to make it easier if using Aquamist parts. 4-port distribution manifolds as seen in the picture and aluminum weld bungs for for the intake.

 

i bought my car with it tapped there and suppsoedly worked well but i wold upon buying the car
