pedals?

How can you install a new gas pedal? I bought the ones that come stock for the RA and X.

http://www.mitsubishiparts.net/catalog/?section=673

I got the automatic. I don't know how to get the gas pedal on, its not like the brake. Its suppose slide on something but the gas pedal doesnt come off like the brake. any help would be nice!

i did the same thing got mine used from an mr owner what i did was the brake fit right over no problem duh, but for the gas pedal what i did was cut off all of the rubber on the sides of the gas pedal and used 3m double sided tape to hold the cover onto the pedal. do this in the evening and leave some clips or something to appply pressure on the gas pedal over night. ive had it like this for 2 weeks and no problems whatsoever.

I havnt baught them yet, but i was thinkin of putting rivets in. a little more complicated of an install, but no need to wait for glues drying or anything like that. Still deciding on which ones i want.
