Hey guys i Just got an 08 lancer es and i was wondering about tips and tricks things that i can do that will upgrade the car im open to hearing your ideas. never have a customizable car b4 and i am open to hearing what you all have to say

Right, haha. sorry. ummm i have been reading around to really sure what pretains to my car or not, umm right now I would like to upgrade my sound system, i currently have factory installed, also i was looking in to maybe changing the body to streamline the cars look a bit, and then lastly i would like to add horse power, i what thinking a exhaust would help and also improve the sound of the car a bit, but i dont want something really loud and obnouxious

Quick question was looking in to getting an intake

i hear alot about fujita rsm and k&N and i was wonder where i should go to find out which on is best

 

For intakes I'd recommend the Injen or AEM cold air intakes. The short ram intakes are prone to heat soak due to the filter location being right next to the exhaust manifold. Which in turn just make a lot of noise and deliver almost no extra power.
You also have the option of Drop in filters from WORKS, HKS, and K&N.

Exhaust... I hear the HKS axel-backs have a nice tone but aren't too loud, however HKS can be pricey.
Generally Magnaflow sounds pretty good without being too loud as well.
I believe the Road Race Motorsports exhaust uses a Magnaflow muffler.
