I was at the dealer today for a oil change on my 09 lancer es (manual tranny)and the service guy brought it to my attention that i was due for a 15,000 service which included fuel injection cleaned and a pcv valve didnt do niether only the oil change because the prices were outragous so i came home and looked up pcv valve which is 7$ compared to the dealers 55 i need to know where is this located at so i can change it my self..... and also feel free to give your opinion on the so called must have services that they try to sell you....

its on the front left of the engine. it will have the same type of hose that is connected to from the right side of the engine to your intake. You just pull the hose and can then unscrew it and check it out.
