How do you remove the alternator from the 09 lancer ES

Whats the easiest way to DIY the alternator myself. I am getting a H.O.alt from iraggi, and I would like to install it myself. A write up would be great!

1. Take the belt off

2. Unbolt and shift the A\C compressor slightly out of the way

3. Remove the alternator.

If these steps do not help you, maybe you should consider getting this professionally done.

how many bolts are holding the alt down on the engine? I am sure these steps will help, I am just trying to verify if what I thought was correct. I too also thought that I should remove the a/c compressor shift it out of the way.

Have you done this install yourself?
