just wanted to know if anyone removed their rear bumper for the 09 lancer, i just thought it would be easier to install my rear diffuser since i have to custom fit it properly...thanx

 

I was under the impression that the rear diffuser was just the black part that sat as an overlay over the top of the bumper. Is it actually the entire bumper piece?

 

nah its an overlay, due to the imperfection of the difusser (lot of prep work and fitting needed) i thought it is easier to fit it in proper wit the difusser out...thats all

 

if you go along the edge, there should be a bunch of screws from tire well to tire well. After you get all the screws it, you just gotta play with it, it has those plastic tabs that fit into the body that keep it tight.
