I have a set of forged monoblock Volks RE30s for sale w/ tires.

4x 17x9+35, 5x114.3 in excellent condition. 100% straight, faces are flawless with the exception of two tiny nicks (see close ups of imperfections below).



The time attack stripping is custom. This uses "20 year vinyl" decals but install is perfect I've never been called out for doing so (however it could be removed if the new owner prefers straight black.)



Note the two face imperfections (1 on a spoke, 1 at the lip)



Tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE050A's in a 255/40r17. These have lots of life. Note: there are several sub models to this tire. The Pole Position tires (which these are) are the high silica compound that Tire Rack had rated as it's top max performance summer tire when these first came out.



Only significant flaw is where I had one side of a brake caliper come loose which resulted in rubbing on the inside of the barrell. Took off the top layer of paint but no damage otherwise (see left most wheel in the group shot). Brake dust hides this almost immediately, I would have rattle canned it gunmetal but I didn't want to paint over the OEM stickers in case that was important to someone else.

I'm an RX7 guy but set my car up to run evo wheels for convience.

 

Had a question whether I'd be interested in trades... I've gone widebody so I'm running 295/30s on 18x10.5+12s now. If you have something in the 10.5 to 12 inch range we can talk but I'm not sure why you'd want go smaller from there.

 

Forgot to mention, Volk claims these are 30% more rigid than CE28N's. They weigh only 16.25 lbs per wheel which makes them lighter than CE28Ns too.

 

Incorrect. Ce28n is still lighter. The re30 is inbetween ce and te's. They are however 30% more rigid.

RE30s are in fact lighter for 17x9... They're both top shelf wheels but I thought folks who geek out about that kind of thing might want to know what they're getting.

You are correct that Volk's claim was 30% more rigid, not 30% stronger (A-Spec seems to have misworded that) so I edited my post above.

I've been getting a variety of trade offers but wanted to remind folks that the only trades I'd be interested in would be 10.5s or wider. The reason these are for sale is that I went widebody and my car is running 295 tires all around with room for more. It just so happens Evo fitment wheels can be made to work on RX7s really well.
