X MR couldn't rotate tires freely in neutral with hand brake off?

Hey guys, just had my rear fenders rolled, but the guy had a really rough time rotating the rear wheels. He had maybe 6 inches of play and it some effort on his part to get the roller around the fender. I had the car in neutral with the hand brake off. Is there something I overlooked?

edit: only the two rear wheels were off the ground. the fronts were still on the ground. does this matter?

Haha np. Could it be because my two fronts were still on the ground and only the rears were in the air?

That would most likely be exactly it.

There shouldn't be any damage right? It was only rotated very slightly?

That's still rather weird. Until one of the AYC's clutches engages, the rear diff is open. Two wheels off the ground should have been enough. Hmmmm.
