Cusco has had serious problems with there sst equipped x, they've been overheating the clutch packs in a single session. They couldn't even hardly run the car at yokohama's recent test day.

^Well remember, they're using a pre-production SST Evo. And those aren't for sale for that exact reason, they aren't ready yet....

Uhh, are referring to the USDM, JDM, or UK Spec SST?

was the cusco car stock? weird because all the recent MR tests in the mags haven't mentioned SST overheating. i thought it was just a rumor for the SST delay. if the car was modified then i guess tuners should be worried... SST FTL

Sure this is an old but i'm bumping it up just to know what are the issues since it has been two years.
Does the clutch pack need to be changed after a certain while? since it is a clutch it much certainly wear eventually?
I do know that the MR has higher rated clutch pack than a ralliart to handled more power.
What do you have to say?

Just kit 22,222 miles in my car over the weekend. I drive the hell out of my car (launches are extremely rare) and haven't had any issues. Even after all my P1235 problems.

Then again, my 95 Tacoma has 230k miles on it and it still has the original clutch.

35k miles on my SST and no issues. It overheats often, especially at the track, but after I let it cool down its fine.

Do you have any dyno charts pictures of your car and turbo setup etc? (more info please) how much did you spend on it so far? Where did you get the 200 launches #? 200 launches since stock or 200 launches since the evo x turbo upgrade?

Sorry for the questions but I also have an 09 Ralliart and its bone stock right now so I want to see what my upgrade path should be but you make some big claims that I'm quite happy to hear but need to see some proof. thanks buddy

You can't launch a Ralliart SST. I have the exact same hp / tq as hotshot1. No issues at all yet. Had the car a year now.
