I think we are still about a month out to have both the clutches and the cooler completed and ready for production...I know we can't wait either! As Ryan said anyone that would like to be among the first to get your hands on these please send me an email as I am compiling a running list and we will be contacting people on a first come first serve basis as soon as the components are ready to ship!

trans cooler

We have spent many hours designing this new cooler system. First we designed a larger sump with cooling fins to help extract some of the heat directly coming out of the transmission. This sump does contain a bung hole for a external trans temp gauge.

We wanted utilize the largest possible cooler so that we can apeal to the road coarse crowd. We went for the rear mount because it is easily accessible and this allows for the most fresh air to cool the unit. This has been designed for the track and extreme driving conditions.

To answer questions about stock exhaust: You cannot run the fans because of clearance issues. This system will have more than enough cooling ability to run the unit without the fans. The entire system will allow you to add 4 quarts more fluid to the system.

We are offering as options a external temp gauge and inline oil filter. We currently are designing a second place for another type of cooler. This will be available by mid May. This cooling unit will be for the more street enthusiast and or quarter mile racing.

Please be patient as to these items are being well tested so that they exceed all of your expectations.

If you have any questions please email me at: kris@sspperformance.com

Is there any chance that an after market dual tip exhaust is going to fit with that cooler? I don't think any that I've seen will.

Thing looks sweet though!

maybe there is a reason to go buy a new MR, though, I'd keep my IX MR. Something about a standard gearbox that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
