The cooler, fans, and pan can't be the problem as they are stright forward designs and installation. Probably a clamping force problem with the disks and SST ECU software. Many however, only want the cooling capability without the disk upgrades so there may be hope.

The blitz setup doesn't look as good and requires you to drop the foglights. Maybe SSP is just really busy.... and voodoo forgot his password.... ugh

SST Transmission

Sorry for the delay guys. Been working hard on some other INTERNAL MODS for the SST transmission. We have successfully completed the rear mounted transmission cooler. We are offering this in either a slim pan for those of you that have more of a street car and it will still accomodate the larger diameter intercooler piping. There is also the deeper pan which will allow for intercooler tubing up to 3 inches in diameter. The deeper pan allows for 2 quarts more fluid capacity.

We will have the first sets of the long awaited clutch discs coming in roughly 10 days time. These first sets will be installed immediately into 2 different cars for final testing. We have spoken with Mitsubshi ourselves on the clutch alignment questions. The answer is that the clutchs will not need aligning from the factory computer. The EVO transmission utilizes 2 different sizes of clutch discs. We will keep everyone informed as too how everything progresses on the discs in the next couple of weeks.

Please email if you have any urgent questions. Voodoo man has been very busy working with his business as well. You may contact him as well at anytime.

If you have any immediate questions on the transmission cooler you can call MAP Performance and ask for Chris Carey. We have done 1 hands on install with these guys. They run a top notch facility, and we are proud to have them on board to help out with installation of these products.

Regards

Kris

Sorry for not posting in a while! I've been suppperrrr busy with work and I'll be out of town for the next two weeks. When I get back in town this build should be very close to done. Currently the block is being sleeved. I will keep everyone posted as much as I can.

Group buy

Chris at MAPerformance did a group buy several months ago with great success.

We would welcome a second buy in. If you can arrange it in SoCal for 10 people, I will arrange the installation facility. Ten people need sign up in that general area at we will arrange for a substantial discount on clutch discs and shipping. We would like to see one dealer do all the installations as part of the buy in.

We would welcome this in other areas as well with group buys.
Please let us know what you guys have in mind.

Kris
