Unhappy SST engaging sound when throttle on/off...?

Hello all,

This sound has been bothered me for a while. My MR is made in Jun 2008, purchased in Jan 2009. Had 8600 miles in the meter, drifted 3 or 4 times in freeze rain, but never lunch, with basic bolt-on mods.

Everytime when I roll dawn my window and switch MR to Sport or S-Sport (normal does not happen), I can hear "Click" from driver side every single time when throttle on/off(same gear). It really sounds like SST wana engage clutch faster, then too much force going on, and something bump each other.

I am wondering does anyone also have this experience?

Thanks,

Yao

Mine will do this at lower speeds. If I'm going 25 and I'm in 3rd, for example, and I blip the throttle, or don't ease into it slowly, I will hear this click. I'm not sure if it doesn't do it in Normal as I almost always drive in Sport Manual. I don't think it's a problem.

preety standard, I thought I was the only one but this is a normal SST thing. I know, coming from a manual it can be kind of disconcerting because its strange, but, it seems to be an SST design issue because other RA's and MRs have this same issue. Don't worry, anything big happens you're covered under warranty just don't break your warranty!

+1...surprisingly it's normal...I only get it in S-Sport at a low RPM
