I don't know if I just missed this in the manual but it seems kind of silly when older automatics would even have a switch to keep it in a certain shift mode. Unless there's a good argument for staying out of the sport mode unless necessary?

Nope.

BTW - it's set per "Key On" cycle, not each start. For example you can switch the key to On, without starting and then set to S-Sport mode. Then crank. And it will stay in S-Sport mode.

Wish that would work with the NAV but it resets on start. Grrr.
