Boost plot + SST

Did some more SST table tweaking this weekend. I have to say I am really warming up to this transmission.

The very quick shifting and the ability to hold boost all through the gears now really impresses me and should make Evo 10 MR's very quick!

Here is 2nd through 5th gear at WOT, Dom 2.0 at 25psi. As you can see it holds 25psi through every gear, even between shifts, doesn't drop boost at all.

Very impressive to me.

Does the sst tweaking also involve clamp rate adjustment? I find the shifting too slow in the upper rpm. It actually seems slower than in the peak torque region. Manual mode that is. Then again...I don't have s-sport mode.

Is the SST holding that whp/wtq without issue? No slippage?

I'm so interested in how you did it and if you have advice for tuning shops to do this. I'm near English Racing's Garage.

Hi Bryan.
Did you road test it ?
Any idea or guesstimate of 0-62 MPH ?
Did you try launch control or would it rip the sst apart ?
cheers

I never launch any customers cars. Heck I've maybe launched my personal Evo 8 five times in 5 years.

The torque isn't super high, I think this turbo is a perfect turbo for the SST MR because of the torque curve.

I'd love to have one of these 350whp+ Evo MR's I've tuned take them to the strip, I would imagine with a good launch they would have no problems running 11's, they just rip through the gears with no ground lost between shifts.

Any tips for doing this on the stocker? I can't seem to find a good ground for holding between shifts, I get some pretty good taper. I can't imagine producing a line like yours on the stock, but curious if it's possible to get close.
