I want to see how long these transmission last with reasonable abuse.
Anyone think they will last 100,000 miles?

damn u beat me 31,000 over here doing fine (after 2nd transmission, 1st one failed @ 6k miles..)

just did the SST tranny fluid (@ 30k) it's super expensive fluid but smells oh so good (think of it as ultra refined ATF, lol, but I don't know what it is)

 

now at 55k and solid as a rock. original tranny, no issues thank god! held up through a few track days and about 20 or so 1/4 mile runs.

2010 Ralliart With 17,800. Got it end of January with 35 miles on it

 

I have 30k on mine with no issues. I havent had a single issue with this car.

 

Curious where everyone is at today. I have a 2010 SE with 20k on it and am trying to decide about modding or not. It's my DD and put on 50+ miles a day highway driving. I want to mod it so bad, but obviously that voids the warranty.

I heard the transmission is $11k? Is that correct? If so, I want to make sure these transmissions hold their own because I don't have $11k to drop on a transmission.

I'd like to just do exhaust, intake, fmic, uicp, licp, and a tune. I want to keep this car for a LONG time.

How are your guys' SST's holding up and with what mods/power?

Can you handle the cost if they deny the claim?
I see a new thread pop up about a failure every 2 weeks.

 

2009 Ralliart @ 36,000km. Around 250awhp at present. Some hard driving on track. Changed fluid+filter at 20k.

No SST issues at all, except its total AWESOMENESS. lol.
