The dtc that was set when then cel was on should still be in memory in the ecm. Have it scanned for history codes and let us know.

P1870 .. torque signal abnormality ..
Thats the CEL that doesn't cause the engine to go funky

Its not slipping .. the ecu is not tweaked for the gearbox

that would make complete sense too specially with 340 hp because you can't run stock ecu with 340 so tcu is going to have the same issue if I'm reading this correctly. Specially with these cars it seems there are alot of parameters that the transmission computer looks at to make sure everything is running and functioning properly. Definitely didn't know you could tune the tcu though, great knowledge these forums possess

340 is far from the limit of the stock clutches on the MR with correct tuning

I had this same issue and Gunzo sorted it out with some badass SST tables Now i have yet to throw another code since this tune.
