What are the upper limits of a replacement like this? Potentially I have a friend that wants to build an MR for road racing duty and his goal is 600-650 crank HP range (127-131 mph trap speed capable) and I'm not sure anyone has really tested the car for that kind of situation yet. Worst case he'll go with a 5 speed but after seeing the progress SSP has made already it seems possible. It's not really the HP that kills the MR setups, but the sudden shock of low to mid range torque that's bad news. With a larger turbo you usually trade some low end punch for top end HP so it may just work out.
