Just got My EVO MR in Brazil... and I canīt find hot to launch..
Can someone help?

hit asc once, then hit it again and hold for 3sec it will say AYC brake Off. Then your Lil flipper by the e-brake, flip it to sport, then push it up and hold it again for 3secs and it will goto s-sport.

goto wherever you safely want to launch, hold brake, smash the gas to the floor, watch your rps shoot to 5000+rpm and let off the brake and hold on.

Tip : for first time use, make sure you are in auto mode, dont shift yourself, as you will most likely redline it and bounce off limiter

also, if you JUST got the car, you might want to wait the first 1000km before you try launching it, just to make sure the tranny is worked in a bit

 

how does this apply for the GSR

 

Hold ASC for more than 3 secs or many calls it the "off off" you will hear a warning and see a triangle on the MID

Flip SST to Sport and hold it up for 3 secs to enter SSport

Switch to Manual

Hold Brake on Left Foot and Right on Gas - RPM Holds @ 5500 (mine holds @ 5800)

Don't hold it or wait too long to launch or else you WILL get Slow Down Warning on MID

To reset Slow Down , best way is to turn the ign off and restart

do this on a quiet road SAFETY 1st

I would say it'll take a few practice launch to get it to work properly

On another note, people say that if you try and launch the MR of the brake (not use the built in launch control) you will auto get the slow down message. does anyone have info that says diffrent
