SST Maintenance Poll

The purpose of this poll is to see how often maintenance is performed on your EVO, specifically with the SST. The reason I'm curious, is that I have spoken with dealerships that sell and services lots of Evo's. Not just ones that do a dealer trade once in a blue moon. The number 1 answer I'm getting is lack of maintenance. They are saying the filter is 100% clogged and its metal and ceramic debris that have caused the SST failure. Of course this is the number 1 reason for any automatic or semi automatic transmission to fail.

You forgot the "I have a GSR and just want to click something" choice

If I had a SST though, I'd probably change both in the 20k range (or annually) with OEM DiaQueen and SSP's OEM-replacement paper filter. This is just my 2-cents though, no technical fact to back it up.

I just did mine for the first time this past weekend. I bought the car with 35k miles on it and would like to think it was done at 30k as it is supposed to be. I literally rolled over 72k on the way to the shop to do it. but now that i know how to do it, i'd like to do it every 15k. I did the mineral oil flush that someone posted on here and refilled with FFL-2. and i bought the ssp reusable filter so the first change was about 350-400 bucks with everything but next time all i have to get is the mineral oil and the FFL-2 so about 170ish after shipping.
