A question about my SST operation

Hey everyone, I bought an Evo SE back in March and I've put about 3k miles (24K total) on it now and I've noticed a few transmission "quirks" and I'd like to advice to as if they are normal operation.

First off, I've noticed that sometimes when I am driving at low gear such as coming to a rolling stop, only to accelerate before I complete stop, that the transmission will sometimes feel like it's slipping. It never does it ANY other time. Is this normal?

Also, the car will shift really hard sometimes in normal auto mode, again many times this happens when I am slowing down to come to a stop and then accelerate again. This also happens sometimes when driving with normal operation, the car will just have hard shifts, mostly at low speeds.

Are all of these normal quirks of the transmission?

Also why does the history for the SST section only go back to June 2013? Is there a way to look at the more historical SST threads?

Thanks

The slow speed to a quick acceleration causing a jerk is normal. Mine does that also. Be careful, don't get whiplash or snap a cervical bone.

I read somewhere that the low speed jerking, especially when approaching a stop light, is due to the drive by wire system. No old school accelerator cable.

Ha! Thanks, glad to know it just isn't mind. What about the slipping? It's pretty pronounced sometimes but only when I am doing a roll and then accelerate. Kinda similar conditions to the hard shifting.

I'm still under warranty so I want to know if I should take it in and try to get them to fix it.

At the bottom of the page in each section there is a drop down box that lets you select the time frame for looking at threads.
