Kozmic would know best. Did they tell you to do a teach-in?

I'm confused too....
You should do a teach in. I thought for sure I told you that. I tell everyone that. If I wasn't clear, I apologize.

Perhaps the confusion is from my tendency to get very literal when answering questions. For example: "Do I have to do a teach in?" In the context of you don't have to do anything, I suppose the answer is no. You don't have to eat either, but if you don't you will eventually die.

The transmission will work without a teach in. However it will NOT work as well as it should, and in some cases may actually decrease the life of the clutch. Certain DTC's may set without a teach in, as well as certain functions of the transmission not working properly, such as the creep function, which is highly dependent on a teach in and the transmission knowing exactly where the clutch starts to engage etc. If you spend a couple thousand dollars replacing a clutch, for the love of all things holy, do the teach in. Please.

you will need to talk to kozmic, everyone's price are different depending on the condition of your currect clutch. I happended to get a really good deal from Eric @ kozmic. he is a very nice and knowledgeble guy to talk to. he will also support your need of tunning the sst after you purchased the kit from him.
as far as shipping, it wont be expensive if you are only shipping out the clutch basket.
