Hello, I’d like to replace the OEM fosgate stereo. I went to a custom radio shop and was told because of the fosgate system it would cost way too much and I should wait until the new year as there’s going to be a retro upgrade. I’m not sure what that means and I didn’t get a chance to ask before he was helping another customer. So my questions are, why is it so difficult to replace the oem with a car play receiver? Does anyone know what the guy was saying about the retro upgrade?
