Airtrek front shocks

Airtrek front shocks
Sorry if this has already been discussed I’ve had a quick look but couldn’t find anything.
My 2002 Airtrek turbo R needs front shocks but I can find any new in the UK. Does anyone know if the shocks from the Outlander mk1 with the same engine as mine fit.
also I have been trying to get my car stage 1 tuned-remapped but both times the running shop have been unable to read the ecu. Is there an easy work around or is all to do with the software/hardware being used.
Any advice would be appreciated.
