EVO X & Lancer Protective Film Kits

Mitsubishi just released protective film kits for the Lancers & EVOs. I have several sets on order and I will post pictures when I have them available to me. Mitsubishi's images they released.

Kits should be below $110, but I will need to wait until I have firm pricing before listing them on our sites.

yea what areas exactly does the protective film cover

 

The lower corner of the rear doors and the dog leg portion of the qt panel.

 

i wish they would do a recall and install this.

its interesting my 08 es came with this preinstalled from the dealer, my 09 gts came with a dealer and it did not have t his on it.

Too late for me too!
They put some clear stuff on mine already too on the same areas,..it loosk real kinda sloppy...it is a roudn piece in the bottom corner of the rear doors and on the dog legs and goes down on the side skirt portion (GTS model).

It took months before I heard back from them on this even tho...
They repainted the door and then put this 3M clear tape stuff...
When weatehr gets better out (its cold this week) and it clears up, and I wash the car....I will get pics of it on my car....

Im curious how what they put on my car compares to this "new accessory."
I know Mitsu is telling its dealers to pre-install the 3M stuff on the cars at the dealerships....and anything new coming in has some stuff pre-installed on already..apparently...just a hear sake tho....dunno how true this is.....

But Mitsu wont admit that thri paint is absolutely crap!
So therefore they wont be "recalling" to re-paint all our defectively painted cars!
Its cheap paint...very light painted on!

I even have paint chips on my front hood...but they wont do anything to that AT ALL...as they say "warranty service does not cover paint chips.".. Basically paint chips are wear and tear...
I had a 2005 Jimmy..had it for 3 and a half years almost..paint was absolutely fine!!!!!

Mitsubishi's paint is NOT made to withstand the North American market...especially the Canadian market....weather wise!
