I really dont have anyway to verify all that you would need to add this on. Mitsubishi doesnt have a kit to add it so someone out there who is familiar with the electronics of these is going to have to be a test dummy and go in and try to get it to work.

Hopefully someone figures it out at some point though.

Russell, the FUSE system is now listed as an accessory on the US site:

http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/j...modelId=100040

Would you happen to know what this kit contains? would it work on the '08-'10s?

Thanks!

Im looking at the bulletin Mitsubishi sent out to the dealers regarding the new FUSE System that can be added to the 2011 Models. It states that this system is not compatible with Audio Systems prior to 11MY.

Perhaps there is a solution out there, but I do not know it. Hopefully someone with some audio & electronics knowledge can sort it or shed some light on the matter.

I have the FSM for the 2008-2010... if you can get me a pinout of the 2011 stereo connections I can figure it out.

Very encouraging! I will do some hunting for the pinouts and circuits for you. I checked this morning in the 2011 service manual and I couldnt find anything that indicated information for the Fuse System. Mitsubishi does not have this item in the accessories section quite yet either. As soon as they add it Im hoping they will add a PDF for the installation procedure and maybe there will be some wiring information listed there.

Something like what is on page 90-216 (and the pages following it) of the 2008 FSM would be helpful to get the ball rolling

FYI, here are a couple of threads from the outlander forum:

It doesn't seem like anyone has gotten anything to work yet. I'm not clear if it is a harness issue, but it it seems clear that the FUSE module itself isn't directly compatible with the 2008 stereo software wise (which I already assumed).

I found out the hard way that my navi from my 09 Ralliart isn't compatible with my FUSE system in my 2011 X. The navi works fine and all audio controls from the steering wheel work fine but I have no bluetooth or FUSE function. Was hoping there was a software update for the navi to correct this issue but dealer said "no" for what their information is worth. Good luck guys! I hope you find a solution.
