Russell, is it possible to put the 2010 Outlander's FUSE system into a 2008 Evo X GSR?

What parts would be required?

I've already got the OEM 40GB Navi. I also have the steering wheel audio controls installed.

I do NOT have the Bluetooth installed, but I could easily do that if needed.

Thoughts?

 

amazing, i have the BT already. i hope we can hear from russell and how to integrate into the X.

 

about time to see some sort of integrated ipod/usb...mitsubishi really needs to catch up with this technology. wonder if the ipod is charged through the usb too.

 

i will go out on a limb and say yes that it will charge it as well.

As more news is released about FUSE, more members are starting to ask if they can retrofit it into their 2008-2010 Evo, Ralliart or Lancer

Keep us posted. Could be A LOT of business coming your way if there is a way to retrofit

Just to keep everyone in the loop I have been periodically checking into this and the parts for the FUSE System still are not in our parts catalogs. Ill have to find out when the next update rolls out so I can inform you all of a time line at the very least.

That being said, once I can figure out the parts I really wont have a way to find out if this will work in a non-equipped vehicle.

 

Well I'll ask my service guys here at Max Madsen in Downers Grove. I have a 2008 Evo MR with navi tech pkg and my 2010 Outlander has the Bluetooth 2.0 with Fuse and makes a world of difference.

 

Any updates on the FUSE system Russell?
