MAPerformance Customer Reviews
Ordered my O2 housing and injectors regular shipping from MAP. Mitsu forgot to send 2 nuts for the housing and Adam 2nd day air'd all the parts to me. Top notch customer service. Really great guys to deal with and always answer any questions. Great job guys. I'll definitely be coming to you guys for future purchases.
I had a WTB ad for a 3" downpipe and people offered all these used downpipes for $150 or more. MAP hooked it up with a NEW Cobb SS downpipe for $145 shipped. MEGA HOOKUP. It was as cheap as chinabay replicas. I got the tracking # within 24 hours. I look forward to receiving it. Big up for MN boyz!
Cliff notes: Adam really hooked it up on a Cobb 3" downpipe for my Evo 8

Positive response again so far with the timeliness of emails from Adam regarding me making my 2nd order with MAP- this time for an AEM digital boost gauge for my Evo X.
I've also spread the word to a lot of my friends in Sydney and hopefully can get the interest up! Adam is great for shipping internationally at reasonable prices. Thumbs up.

I haven't bought anything from MAP (yet), but I have been helping my good buddy with his 2.3 IX MR build and we initially chose MAP honestly because they are local. But right from the get go we've been treated great and my good friend can't stop talking about how great of a company MAP has been to deal with, and I would have to agree.
We brought in the core shortblock to MAP and were having problems getting the trans off. We brought the trans with us still on the back of the shortblock and when we got there we got help taking it off for no charge. They showed us what was holding us up getting it off and were really helpful.
When he first got his car it was already modded, so we went to MAP to make a couple pulls, and unlike most shops where they will make your pulls and give you your sheets, Jordan told us that the tune had more left in it on the top end and offered to smooth out the tune if needed, which he did, and we gained something like 15 awhp from it.
When we got the 2.3 shortblock from MAP we started getting everything together and realized that it was an VIII block and my buddy has a IX. We mentioned it to MAP while we were up there, as I am still fairly new to these 4G63s and didn't know if maybe I had looked at the MIVEC oil feed hole wrong, but without question they gave us the 8 block to 9 head conversion line free of charge. It's awesome to see a company with customer service like that and that will stand behind their products and services.
And we also dropped his cylinder head off to be surfaced. Just for the ease of things, we had left the cams in there and they said they were going to take them out and re install them. Well, most places would take them out, do the work, and throw em back in and give you a call to pick them up. Well, MAP noticed when taking them apart that one of the cam lobes was starting to get wiped out, which sucks because they are Kelford 272/272 cams
But not only did MAP catch this and call my buddy, but they also gave him advice on which new cams to go with for his build.
Like I said, I have yet to buy anything there or have anything done personally, but after seeing all that they have done with my buddy's build so far, I wouldn't hesitate to go there for any automotive need. I'm looking forward to getting this 2.3 build done and going back up to MAP to see how much power this thing will make. I also think I'm going to take the day off work and stop out to the Boost for Boobies dyno day.
Thanks MAP crew for being awesome to deal with!

Thanks for taking the time to do a review, and a nice sized one at that. We really appreciate it! We always go the extra mile and when a customer notices that it means the world to us!
Thanks again,
Adam

Since I'm guessing you guys do most of your business over the phone and ship out a good amount of stuff I'd just like to help people get an idea of what dealing with you guys in person is like. That, and I couldn't help but notice how overly impressed my friend has been since dealing with you guys since he bought his Evo last year. And I'm also glad that there is someone around here who knows these cars as much as you guys do, as I work as a technician, but in no way specialize in these cars and engines.
Thanks again and I look forward to stopping by again for the B4B dyno day.
