Why is MAP porting /polishing so much better than the competition? Find out inside...

At MAP we aren't happy porting just 2-3" into a manifold or turbine housing like our competition. As such, we developed proprietary tooling that allows us to port anything within line of sight! For instance, Dodge Viper intake manifolds are over 30" in length and every inch gets shaped and polished before it leaves here When it comes to the Evo platform that means we are able to port/polish your entire exhaust manifold as seen below!

You might be thinking that this process is similar to extrude honed, but it is quite the contrary. Extrude honing is without a doubt a beneficial process that improves upon overall flow, but where it lacks is shape control. All of our porting/polishing is completed by hand yielding ultimate control in regards to final shape. In fact, our portwork has gone head to head with extrude honed pieces several times and come out on top!

If you are looking for the absolute best porting/polishing available you are in the right place! Click here for pricing!

I have a manifold in to their shop now. Depending on its quality -- I have been considering the v2 or the v3 and TB.

I recently had a customer of mine send in a ported MAP Evo exhaust manifold for us to ceramic coat straight from MAP.

We have ceramic coated top name manifolds like Full-Race, Shearer, AMS, etc.
We have also seen "ported" exhaust manifolds come by here from time to time so I felt I needed to give credit to MAP and their porting.

This is some of the best, if not the best, porting I have personally seen. Every surface that is visible is worked on which is basically the entire manifold. When the customer informed me of the price MAP charged him, I must say this is the best way to go hands down. We look forward to sending MAP some of our parts for porting after seeing their work 1st hand.

Two thumbs up for MAP's porting.

I have looked through the MAP website, but don't see info on exhaust manifold porting services. I am interested it getting mine ported so additional information would be great.

I'll see if I can't get something up on the site here, in the mean time this thread should be the best resource for information and feel free to contact me for pricing!
