A larger pic... Even at this kind of speed, the care is very easy to control... This my third blow out in the last year or so.

No... I think I was a little low on tire pressure. Our guess is that the excess heat built up on the edge of the tire caused it to pretty much explode ( I was porbably running 10psi or so lower than where I should have been).

What pressure? The correct pressure should be around 31 hot. Did you buy these used or was this a new set? If new, how much time was on them?

I was at 29 in the front and 31 in the rear.... hot.
Tires were used but only heat cycled once.

Also was running 2.7neg camber and 1/16 tow out witch feels great on the car except on corner exit... Need a front LSD really bad.

At a track day, I had a Hoosier develop a huge ballooon, about 1/2 way around the surface of the tire. It came through the tread where it was apparently corded and stuck out about 3/4" and about 3" wide. Fortunately it didn't blow and I was able to get back to the pits.
