Minardi, HA! Where have they been running (or not running at all) forever? The back! No way in H*ll they'd have a chance. Renault, Ferrari, Mclaren, and Bar or the only teams that will be running up front. I'm really looking forward to the start of this season. It should be good.

I watched the F1 race. I think the new rule changes are kinda iffy right now. For sure there will be changes to the rules as the season goes on. The race, in my mind, wasn't too bad. There was passing and there wasn't one guy pulling away from the whole pack. THe cars seemed to run together all race long and with the tire situation the teams and drivers will have to conserve their tires over the span of the race. Also with the engine rule change, of one engine for two races, is a good challenge for the manufactures too. In my mind the changes have made the series a little more challenging and the way the teams have looked so far it seems like the season is going to be pretty good.

Did you watch the last race!?!?!? Just because the 05 is coming out that means nothing. The other teams in the series have gotten a lot better and I doubt it's going to be Ferrari #1 all the time.
Renault is hot this season. I think their engine work has paid off. So far they are the team to beat. Anyone notice they've gone with a needlenose setup similar to the MP-19 McLaren?
Toyota is also looking very strong. I never doubted their engines but the aero has improved drastically it seems.
The biggest shocker in my opinion is RBR-Cosworth! They came up with 25 more hp but it doesn't explain how they've transformed the Jaguar backmarker into a points competitor. Exciting.
Of course Michelin is dominating, it looks like Bridgestone has dropped the ball with the new tire rules. I think the Ferrari is still a competitive car but it looks like it's pretty harsh on tires.
