before you installed the coilovers, did you push down the coilover all the way down to test the limitation to cut your bushing?

also, they maybe a bit narrow, it could be going into the upper strut mount.

you have to -push the shocks all the way down to see how much of an allowance you need to adjust the bushing, otherwise it'll bottom out.

just my 2 cent.

If you go with the PU bushings make sure to apply lots of lube and periodically check them for excessive wear. Personally if you're going that far I would go ahead and find a solid aluminum assembly.

Here some more.

Mark or Eric, can you explain the difference between the impregnated self lubricating PU bushing vs. the non with respect to performance. Do you have a preference? Does the impregnated bushing loose a bit of strength? Or is it as simple as a quieter bushing?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave, I've never used the impregnated bushings so I can't really say.

The impregnated bushing is just a "comfort" feature to keep the squeaks down isntead of having to grease them all of the time. I run a mix of both in my FSP Colt. The imprenated ones are on the hard to get to bushings (front sway bar and rear trailing arm) and the regular ones from whiteline are on the rest. I have a colorful suspension with yellow, red, purple, and black bushings.
