Scott Speed to drive at USGP

It's bad enough I won't make it to the USGP this year but now it is even worse to know that Scott Speed is suppposed to be the third driver for Red Bull at the USGP and Canadian GP's. I would love to hear the crowd on his first out lap at Indy! Imagine what that would be like from the cockpit. Hopefully, the team will let him do some low fuel runs to try and get up on the timesheets...make him look good. Better start planning for next year in case he's racing.

From: vegas baby....
I remember when Red Bull first started doing the F1 driver search here in the states couple years back.. I thought it was all just marketing but it seems they actually had a plan.... lets hope an american driver can 'step up'...

I am very excited to see Scott Speed in F1, hope he does well.

Thats great news I hope the place goes nuts when hit hits the front straight at Indy. Its time for the US (driver wise) to make some noise over there.

At 6'1" your at the limit height wise. Mark Webber is 6'1" or 6'2" from what I remember, and he is the tallest driver in F1 right now. 240 is way to much, trust me, I am 245 and it sucks to try to get a kart around at that weight. I need to go on a diet. But weight is one of the most important things on a F1 car, so the lighter the driver is, the better.
