2 Days @ Thunderhill in November!

T.E.A.M. Racing is putting on another spectacular event this November 25th and 26th at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, California. Participants are treated to morning coffee service, GatorAde, bottled water, snacks, catered lunches, instruction, downloads (novice and intermediate groups), and at least TWO HOURS (six 20-minute sessions followed by open track time) of track time!!!

Cost is $190 for one day, $350 for both days. Details are at http://www.team-racing.org or email us at teamracing@weatherwax.net After reading more about the Evo 8 in this past edition of Grassroots Motorsports, I'm really excited to see a few more Evos show up! And those of you with Evos and such that HAVE been to past T.E.A.M. Racing events . . . please post your thoughts here so that we can encourage more Evos to sign up this time.

See you in November???

***Oh, great . . . I get to join another newslist? You folks sure do keep me on my toes! Lol. And I thought organizing track events was gonna be easy. Here's a couple tips to work with the wife . . . (a) have her come out and play, too . . . we chicks make pretty good drivers, if I don't say so myself. And (b), tell her you'd like this as an early Christmas present or something . . . it might work! Good luck, man . . . we're here for ya!

So cool, Josh! We enjoyed having you out with us a couple of weeks ago! There's a real good chance that Erick will be back too, if you'd like some more instruction with him. What would be really cool is if we get a half dozen or so Evos and set up a "corral" for you all. It creates a fun venue to get to know a few of your fellow listers and it looks cool. Once I see that we have enough, I'll try and get Mitsubishi to donate a banner or something . . . I got first dibs on the covered area! Lol.

***There are lots of changes in the forecast for Thunderhill, including, as rumor has it, more of those covered areas. Also, just last week I noted that they've widened the track-out area of turns 8, 11, and 14. Theres some rumble strips there, but you can go over them if you want, as they are not tire killers. They are also going to be adding more garages and building up the rallyx area more. I saw someone with a backhoe by the garages last week . . . doing what, I'm not sure. But they are busy making it a better place. Only problem I foresee is, though, that the price to rent the track will probably go up. Guess we can't have the best of both worlds.
