Forgive the noobness, pedal adjustment/replacement.

Now for most people, the gas/pedal placement would be just fine... but for a big guy like me, it's impossible to heel/toe.

Finally got a decent pair of racing (thin soled) shoes, and just trying them, it's still not enough. I need the gas pedal about an inch wider (towards the brake, and about 1/4 to 3/8 taller for my huge foot to ever grab both. (i really think it's more of a long leg/ankle not bending issue, rather than big feet)

Now, my options are?

Getting something custom made off the stock "sport pedals?" or are there any other suggestions?

Thanks for your time guys.

eh, those look to be the same height. I already have pedal covers (whatever comes stock on the MR), but they're just not the right height/big enough.

the height of the pedal is fine you just need something wider. I'm 6'5" with a size 14 shoe and the wider pedal works great. try the sparco covers.

Road Race Chassis modified my stock gas pedal, twisting it so that the bottom edge is closer to the brake pedal. Works great.

gotcha, thanks for the ideas guys, looks like i'll definatly have to do something custom to get it wider and maybe a spacer to make it just that touch higher. With brakes at full press, still can't reach over enough to give it a good blip, just enough to touch it.

Thanks for the help.

Also, if you cant get the gas pedal to twist far enought for your liking you can TIG weld a small piece of aluminum onto the side of the pedal to widen it. . . . Provided you have aluminum pedal covers.
