Hey guys, I just sold my Miata and plan on running my stock 05 Evo in an autocross this weekend. I live in Lancaster, CA (near Willow Springs) and am aware of the SCCA AutoX at Cal Speedway on Jan 14-15. Are there any other AutoX events I should know about?

Let's see, off the top of my head there are quite a few including the 2 national events and a rally-x in the next 2 months or so.

1/15 CA Speedway
1/21 Del Mar Rally-X
1/29 San Diego A-X
2/12 CA Speedway
2/19 San Diego A-X
3/3 -3/5 SCCA Solo2 National Tour - San Diego
3/10 - 3/12 SCCA ProSolo - Fontana
3/18 San Diego A-X

And that's not counting practice days, indoor euro karting and award banquets. I just had to go over these dates with my wife today.

 

Thanks for the info. I plan on doing some karting at Moran Raceway, too. Ill be taking one of their sprint kart classes in February.

I look forward to autocrossing the Evo. I'm sure things will happen a LOT quicker than in a Miata!
