Can you see the metal mesh coming out on the inner edges?
How did I do? Hmm, I didnt do much, told you, 4 laps and the tyres were gone. Any more and they would have exploded I'm sure!
Other than that, I passed everybody and nobody passed me, I have an Evo!! And it was the only one...

Err... 2 Subarus, a few old Renaults with roll cages in them, and ultralight race cars (one middle seat) with huge slicks on them. Also a Porsche (what a joke) and a Renault MAXI Mégane (De Meyer) rallye car from last year with sequential gear box etc etc.

Most Evo do beat Porsches. On trackdays in the UK it is considered fair game to bait the Porkers
What's even more fun is when they try to stay with you on the road. One who couldn't finally caught me at some lights and asked how much my car cost. I replied it was half the price of his and then drove off slowly

Snelson, I dont think Hooby was serious about the Porsche. But some of those Renaults with everything ripped out inside and just two bucket seats in there, full turbo boost are going really well!
The tyres are Bridgestone Potenza 540 Type S (harder compound than the GS I had before). I bought them for 300 EUR on Tuesday. They had done one rallye, but looked almost new. Now they're completely destroyed, altough you cant see that too well on the pic, just realized it is overexposed. Check the tyres how they were on Friday (pic in the Registry)!!
Now I am going back tomorrow to my local rallye team to which I give all my money and buy some slicks. Not for street use. COuldnt care less, they stick better and have hard sidewalls. It would be ridiculous to buy suspensions for EUR 10000 (GBP 6.000) and try to save on rubber.

Derrrrrr! OK, I was tired and didn't read Hooby's comments properly!
How does Claudius afford it? He pays no tax! Don't know how he earns his money but if you were a single man living in a tax haven, what would you do with the extra money you aren't giving the tax man. Spend it on your car, women and wine
