I really hope that adapter has splines that fit the rod splines and it's not just press fit on there.

I don't even want to know what will happen when you bang a track berm.

Bump for more info

Momo told me that part number 6116 will fit the 03 evo with no problems. Did anyone try and fit the 6116 to the 03 evo yet?

Not sure on exact part number but I tried 3 different MOMO model numbers that 'supposedly' worked.... but they didnt and I have never seen a confirmed fitment of one.

nils, do you think this adapter could work with the stock wheel? I'm guessing the "bolts" on the stock momo wheel are only cosmetic, but could they be drilled and replaced with real ones to match up with the ring pattern on the adapter?

I'm assuming that if you want to keep the stock wheel, you also want to keep the airbag.

There's important bits behind those fake "bolts" like the airbag module and the clock spring assembly, so drilling would be a bad idea.

I agree, seems like keeping stock wheel with new adapter would be a pain to do, even if you removed the airbag. Anything is possible though

Thanks for the lead! will it work with the stock steering wheel, and do you have a URL or phone number?

long legs / short arms - trying to get a better driving position by moving the steering wheel closer to me, but I like the stock one + airbag better than after market.

Just confirmed that the MOMO PN 6116 will not work on the 03 EVO.

Where we come splash

Nils did the splash allow you to keep the rolling pin connector to allow you to keep your turn signal cancelation?
