Evo classification news in FASTRACK
Nothing major, but should help ease confusion regarding how the Evo is listed in the Solo 2 rulebook...
from http://www.scca.com/_FileLibrary/File/06-3-fastrack.pdf:
4) Stock, ST, SP, SM, Prep, Mod: All listings for the Mitsubishi Evo (8, VIII, etc.) should read "Evo ('03+)"
5) Street Touring: the following new listing, effective immediately upon publication, has been recommended by the STAC and approved by the
SEB:
Mitsubishi Evo ('03+) STU (also on STX exclusion list)

Does anyeon know where the X-Prepared rules are? I have the PDF file and Haven't found them, but from what is described ot me the Evo should fit there where it is a cross between street mod and prepared..

Edit: I am in BSP so this would be awesome because of ud/bd.

That still won't be allowed since ud/bd is only true for SP and above. For stu and stock, you can only do a model conversion based on what is available as an option or package of the same model year. IE, you can make your GSR into an RS but you can't add a 06 turbo onto a 03 without being into the SP or above classes.

Update/Backdate does have it's limitations.
Can I run the 1G BOV and stay in BSP? I want to upgrade my upper IC pipe because it keeps blowing off at autox events but don't want to move into SM. The BR kit comes with a 1G.

1) You don't solve that problem by upgrading the UICP. You have to fix the actual thing that is causing it to pop off. Hard pipes are just as likely to blow off if you don't use the right couplers or don't tighten them properly.
2) You are not bound to the 1G when getting the BR UICP. You can use any BOV you want - just let them know which one you want to use (e.g. stock).
