Redline: Time Attack gets TV coverage on Speed Channel.
Also, G4 TV, Street Tuner Challenge and Redline TV.

If you go here: http://redlinetimeattack.com/index-2.html
you'll see the rules for every class. If you have a question, feel free to send an email.

There is no deadline to register, but we won't take more then 70 drivers/teams for the time attack.

The rules for Street and Modified Classes were updated last week. It is every participants responsibility to make themselves knowledgable of the rules.

The major change we made was to require OEM door panels and components for the front doors as well as full factory dash and components for Street and Modified. Street and Modified Class cars can be gutted behind the front seats of all material. We had to close a hole in the rules that allowed completely gutted and caged "race cars", that happened to have registration, from competing in Modified Class.

Modified Class is designed to be the proving grounds for the ultimate street cars.

I just wanted to bring this to the top.. we have about 4 weeks to go before the event and momentum is building. We expect the East Coast to be represented well at this event with some serious cars showing up. Word on the street is that we will see some HEAVY hitters appearing, trying to lay claim to the fastest East Coast Time Attack car.

I will be calling 3 of the EvolutionM.net board sponsors today (AutoMotoSports, Precision Dyno Tuning and TurboTrix Racing) that are located in the Eastern USA to see if they will be represented or not. The WORKS EVO took first place in Modified AWD at our California Speedway opening event and a Subaru STI took first place in Street AWD. I expect tight battles again at BeaveRun.

Nikolas,

AMS is planning on being there, we just haven't had a chance to submit an entry with all the prep for One Lap and such. Martin and I are looking forward to it though.

Precision Dyno

Precision Dyno will be there with an EVO. Trying to get others to join in. It should be a lot of fun to run with the fastest evo's out there.

Registrants are trickling in.... I wonder if it will be like the California Speedway event, where we received about 50 registrations in the last 2 weeks. :-)

David Buschur of Buschur Racing just registered for Unlimited AWD so that is pretty cool! They just ran a shake-down event at Mid-Ohio and clocked Fast Time of the Day in their car. It looks like some of the heavy hitters are going to be there at BeaveRun afterall.

Are engine mods virtually unlimited in street and modified classes?

Engine mods are virtually unlimited..... Our first round, at California Speedway, made it very evident that the Street Tire limitation did a wonderful job of balancing the field. Street tires can only handle so much speed, heat and power.
