Redline: Time Attack!
Redline: Time Attack!
Hi all,
RedlineTrackEvents is hosting another track event/time attack at BeaveRun Motorsports Complex
About this same time last year we had a great run at BeaveRun with lots of EVO guys supporting the event. I hope some of you will be able to make it back to the track this year.
This BeaveRun event will also be a Redline:Time Attack event, perviously to be held at Mid-Ohio but now moved to BeaveRun due to track problems at Mid-Ohio.
Saturday, May 13 is an open track day / HPDE event. Anyone is welcome to attend.
Sunday, May 14 is the Redline: Time Attack! Also an event that anyone is welcome to attend.
For more info on our time attack please visit our website: http://redlinetimeattack.com/index.html
The last time attack we held at California Speedway was a great event. With the WORKS TIME ATTACK EVO taking top honors for the Modified AWD Class. You can see the final results here: http://redlinetimeattack.com/index-R.htm also, check out the gallery for photos form that event.
The Redline: Time Attack is a slightly different take on time trail racing, and provides some great fun at the track. You only get five laps to a time attack session, and only three of the laps will count towards you placement. You'll have plenty of track time during the Time Attack for practice runs and to get your car set up. The Time Attack sessions are run in the afternoon. The format and schedule are all explained on redlinetimeattack.com.
Hope you can make it out!
Thanks,
Chris

Jon,
How do you feel about extending our One Lap adventure? I already looked into and we're 6 hours from South bend to beaverun. Basically we wrap up the awards ceremony for the One Lap, our guys meet us there with a trailer and race tires. We swap tires, look the car over and then put her on the trailer. We should arrive at Beaverun aroud 10pm sat night, and race sunday!

Martin, I am 100% for it.. I just didn't want to commit you without asking.
Jon (Who doesn't think that 20 events, 13 tracks, 10 sites, and 4000 street miles in 8 days is enough)

At the Calif. Speedway Time Attack, Kent Jordan in his Muellerized EVO placed second in the AWD Unlimited class and third overall, beating the fifth overall Works EVO's best lap time by about 1/2 second. The overall winner was Tarzan Yamada in his 800 hp XS Engineering Skyline GT-R. He beat Kent by 3 seconds! The white EVO next to Tarzan is mine, and you can see the white and orange Works EVO in the background to the right of my RS.

There were defiantly some nice cars out there at that last one!
I'm not sure if Tarzan and XS will be at the BeaveRun events so the competition won't be so far off this time... My bet is that an EVO will take overall champ before the season is over.

Not sure. But there might be immovable puddles.
